Sights of the Season

Nutcracker Girls

It was hard to get this picture of Theo's 5th-grade choir performing at a retirement home (he's in the middle).  He's a good singer and a good dancer.  But he practically never looks at his director.  Funny boy.

I love decorating little girls for Christmas!

Outside our awesome Breakfast with Santa at Flattop Grill.  That's Mistletoe the reindeer with us--it sort of looks like we're kidnapping her, doesn't it?  We would never!  Don't put us on the naughty list, Santa!

We made a rice-krispie castle instead of a gingerbread house this year--huge hit!  It only lasted about an hour.

Christmas Eve nativity--we have a shepherd, Joseph, Mary, and our angel.

I hope if you enlarge this you can see Theo's magnificent etch-a-sketch drawing for Santa.  Addy wrote a darling note, and Santa seemed to like the cookies and egg-nog--they were gone in the morning!

Christmas morning!

Still Christmas morning!  While we didn't do a photo of each kid with their gifts, they were all very grateful for the bounty.  Lots of books for everyone, some clothes (including matching dresses for Addy and her doll), and from Santa: a Furry Frenzy/Zhu-zhu Pet playground for Sera, Toy Story legos for Emerson, a cake bakery set for Addy, and a CD/MP3 player radio alarm clock system for Theo.

What a joyous holiday we had!  Merry Christmas!!
